Existe um “SPA” em Castro Marim, que tem a particularidade de ser natural e ao ar livre. A Salina da Barquinha tornou-se numa atração turística deste concelho do Sotavento, devido às suas águas, que têm uma forte concentração de sais minerais, o que permite uma experiência «próxima da que é possível experimentar no Mar Morto, em Israel».
Esta Salina, localizada no coração da Reserva Natural do Sapal de Castro Marim e Vila Real de Santo António, tem uma concentração de sal de cerca de 260 gramas por litro (g/l), «o que faz com que o corpo flute involuntariamente, ao contrário do que acontece no mar, em que a concentração de minerais ronda as 35g/l», segundo a Câmara de Castro Marim.
O processo inicia-se com uma esfoliação feita com a flor de sal, a seguir existem dois tanques em que se pode flutuar (temperatura da água entre 29 e 30 graus), também podemos aplicar lamas provenientes das salinas no corpo todo o que, supostamente, suaviza a pele.
Benefícios aparte que não sei exatamente avaliar, a experiência é muito agradável e até divertida.
A melhor expressão que posso aqui aplicar é "primeiro estranha-se depois entranha-se".
Localização: à saída da A22 (para quem vem de Faro) e quem vai na direção de Castro Marim... fica a menos de 1km ao lado esquerdo.

Today, Portugal is the Biggest Racist country that i have ever lived in. I feared for my life there and i consider myself lucky that my family got out alive! I have never lived in such poverty (Sopas dos Pobres everyday) 40% unemployment rate and 60% of the population earn less than $932 USD per month, and that’s considered Middle Class here! Within the European Union it is the worst of the worst place to live in.
The bottom line is the bulk of the People in the poor country of Portugal exist in a brainless comma that is fed by Ignorance, anti-Spanish hate, and severe Racism of pretty much everybody that isn’t Portuguese! And, Portugal started the Global Slave Trade in 1441 so it is definitely NOT a safe place for Blacks!!
